In 2010 Perfume were featured in an advert for Pepsi Nex. It's not unusual for Perfume to appear in commercials but normally one of their pre-existing songs would have been used for background music. Instead, Nakata created a cover of Lovefool by the Cardigans. Despite him going to all this effort, less than 30 seconds of the song can actually be heard in the CM and it's never been released. Fans have created remixes and tried to extend it, but there's no official version. I suspect the song was never actually completed, but what does exist sounds pretty cool. If anything it's a weird piece of Perfume trivia, especially since they very rarely cover songs by other artists.
